Issue six is devoted to the incredibly prolific publisher DC Thomson and quite rightly Dennis the Menace is the cover star. He sums up the mischievous fun that permeates the magazine.

Inside there are features on both well known and lesser known titles from Beano, Dandy and Victor on the one hand to Sparky and Spellbound on the other.

The magazine has now expanded to 84 pages of full colour and includes many more features Legendary Brit Comix entrepreneur Dez Skinn tells his history, which happens to be a great overview of 30+ years of comics in this country. This ties in nicely with a lead piece on the history of Marvelman / Miracleman.

Also this issue there is an interesting feature on David Wright, creator of Carol Day, he was one of the greatest craftsmen to ever grace a British Newspaper strip. It is good to see that his work is receiving some long overdue recognition.

Pat Mills tells the story of Gerry Finley-Day who changed the face of girl's comics in Britain and in doing so paved the way for 2000AD of all things. Among the many other articles are one on Commando, Jack Kirby's influence on British comics, Dennis the Menace and Jeff Hawk. 84 pages. Soft Cover Part Colour 8" x 12" (203mm x 305mm)
