Description: Political gag cartoon taking a dig at the state of the post World War Two Labour Government showing Prime Minister Clement Attlee sick in bed. Probably created for Bell's local newspaper the Barnet Press. Signed on reverse by the artist and dated June 7th 1949, presumably during the Labour Party Conference at Blackpool.
