This is the Signed original Watercolour painting by Angus McBride.

This poignant portrait by Angus McBride shows the moment when Elizabeth receives the news -- she had originally missed the messenger as she had been out riding near the palace at Greenwich. Queen Elizabeth had delayed signing the death warrant of her cousin despite the protestations of advisors; however the threat of rebellion had forced her hand.
